Dinner at Claymore....
I found this place through facebook friends sharing post, so decided to give it a try.
Free flow of oyster and seafood @ only S$68, its like why not!
Location is at Pan pacific Orchard, its a bit deserted.
If you know where is Thai embassy, its the other end beside the embassy.
I didnt have to wait for long after I got there as I already reserved the seats.
Table reservation is strongly advice as they only have 120 seats.
Its quite a small place.
Cold dish - Seafood
Fresh Oyster Station
Pasta Station
I like their open kitchen concept. Looking through the kitchen does it remain you of Hell kitchen?
Salad bar and salami
Cheese station
Decided to give this asian dish a try
Asam Laska
I find it too sour, I tried a lot Asam Laska before (Malacca, katong asam, etc)
for this there is still room for improvement....
I really enjoy their oyster station, for topping to go along with the oyster they provide
CAVIER
what a great deal.
Dessert, something not to be missed. For 10 @ claymore nothing fanciful. Maybe just the crepes station. BEWARE - Those meringues are just for display.... 1 main thing i have to point out is the service from this restaurant. Service from the manage are awesome. I was put to a corner at the start of the meal but i told him I would like to change seats. He told me there are no available seats at the moment, but once there is he will change for me. Which he did. Thumbs up. But service from the service crew really have to be improve, My iced water was empty for 30mins and i have to asked the waitress twice before I get a refuel. Approach the waitress for a wine list, and they told me there are extra charges. *erm, I know... I dont have the money to pay?*(I didnt say this to her... duh....)
